Drupal in the Cloud!

by Barbara Falanga on May 19th, 2010

RubyFoo is worth a plane trip

by Andrea Reginato on October 1st, 2009

I’ve never seen London. The capital of Western Europe. The Queen’s home. A shelter for geek people from all over the world. Home of the most advanced development.

AND HERE I COME!

The MIKAMAI developers’ team is joining RubyFoo, two days worth of thought provoking conference with a driving theme. Which sounds like: how to make Ruby talk your language! Some interesting interviews with some speakers are available here.

Maybe we’ll just stop in the Big City for a while =)

Any given (Hack-Up) sunday

by Lorenzo Grandi on February 24th, 2009

The last Hack-Up consisted of the development of 3 new projects. The code is available here.

The Arduino keynote countdown is the right™ way to control the time for the speaker and the audience. It’s an analog time-meter with a gauge display that shows the remaining time for the speech, with three coloured leds that warns the speaker when time is about to finish. Made by Costantino, Giovanni, Cristian Maglie and Luca D’Angelo.

Hack-Up on a shiny sunday

by Lorenzo Grandi on January 13th, 2009

Hack-Up

MIKAMAI is proud to host the Hack-Up on January 18!

But what’s Hack-Up? And why would anybody be interested in it?

Hack-Up is an informal meeting for people sharing a common passion for technology, hacking devices and code.

It works like this: people propose different ideas and groups are self-assembled. Each group has to develop a project in 4 hours. All projects are published in an open wiki allowing anybody to use or implement them. No long term commitment, no remorse about leaving, no problem branching the project and building on it and making it your own. It’s that easy!

These are the projects we are going to focus on:

  • Continue Project TAG from previous Hack-Up to create an easy way to put projects online.
  • Video manipulation: flash applications to allow shared videos manipulation of virtual objects.
  • Continue Arduino Jabber Knock from previos Hack-Up to get it routed via Pachoube.

Wow! I’m in! What should I do?

You may confirm your participation and join us on jan 18 at midday @Frida or at 2pm right here @MIKAMAI !
